West Vancouver Women's Network
About Us:
The West Vancouver Women’s Network (WVWN) is a not-for-profit group open to all women. Our membership is made up of women of various ages, interests and backgrounds, including business women, entrepreneurs, volunteers, retirees and MOMs (Multi-Occupational Managers). Founded in 1989 by a group of West Vancouver residents who wanted a venue to share personal ideas and exchange business resources, our membership has since grown to seventy women from throughout the Lower Mainland. While most of our members are from the North Shore, over the years we have had the pleasure of being joined by members from as far away as Squamish, Lions Bay, Sechelt, Port Coquitlam, Burnaby and other communities throughout the Lower Mainland. True to the spirit under which the Network was founded, the WVWN continues to provide an opportunity for women to meet in an environment where friendship and fun are combined with business, topical issues and current events.
Dinner Meetings:
Dinner meetings are held the third week of the month on alternating Tuesdays and Wednesdays in West Vancouver. The cost is $25 for members and $30 for guests. Cash or cheques only – sorry no VISA or MasterCard.
Guests are always welcome!
The evening begins with a cash bar and networking opportunities. This is followed by an excellent buffet dinner (with wonderful desserts, plus tea and coffee, of course!), a short “spotlight” talk by one of our members, and a presentation by our monthly guest speaker.
Contact us to make a dinner reservation or for more information. Please note that reservations are required, as the Network pays for the number of dinners booked and then collects at the door. However, even if the deadline has passed, please give us a call and we may be able to include you. Remember to bring cash or a cheque. Also bring your business cards, brochures and pamphlets for our Networking Table. Donations of door prizes are always welcome.
Meetings are held at the Hollyburn Country Club, unless otherwise announced. Complimentary visitor parking is located at the very bottom of the hill.
